TPLF leader was seen accompanied by dozens of soldiers and personal security team and his family in Allaw border are in Al-Fashaqa. 

 

The militia group controls at least 150,000 acres of land belonging to Sudanese herders and farmers in Majaj, Allakdi and Allaw. 

 

“The militia leader owned about 5,000 acres of agricultural land in the area of Al-Allaw for decades. He tilled the land and sold the produce to Western Tigray region of Ethiopia,” revealed the Sudanese military sources. 

 

They further revealed that the TPLF leader was found in possession of £5 billion pounds, two luxury cars, plenty of gold and furniture. 

 

Sudanese authorities are reported to have pledged to support Ethiopian federal government to prevent TPLF rebel leaders from hiding in Sudan. 

 

It is estimated that 46,000 Ethiopians from Tigray region had sought refuge in Sudan since the Law enforcement operations commenced on 4th November 2020. 

 

In other news according to Sudan Tribune, Sudan hands over 50 Ethiopian fleeing troops to Addis Ababa.

 

At least 31 solders were from Ethiopian Defense Forces, 6 from Ethiopian Customs Authority and 13 from Ethiopian Federal Police.
