Manchester City have signed 20-year-old winger Ferran Torres from Valencia.
The Under-21 Spain international will cost an initial fee of £20.8M plus further add-ons.
Torres has signed a five-year contract with Pep Guardiola’s side, who finished second in the Premier League.
Torres, who can play in either wings, had attracted interest from several top European clubs including Barcelona, Juventus and Liverpool.
Torres said: ‘’I am so happy to be joining City.
‘’Every player wants to be involved in attacking teams and Manchester City are one of the most attacking in world football.
‘’Pep encourages a really open, aggressive style, which I love, and he is a manager with a proven track record of improving players. To have him overseeing my development is a dream.’’
Torres came through the Valencia academy and made his first-team debut as a 17-year-old in 2017.
He made 34 appearances and scored 4 goals for Valencia in 2019-20 season.
