Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez is set to be spend time on the sidelines after suffering a calf muscle injury on his right leg.
The 28-year-old missed Madrid’s 3-1 win over Eibar on Sunday.
An initial report indicated that he could be out for up to two weeks, although he’ll then face a battle to regain full fitness.
Vazquez has only started 6 La Liga games this season. He has struggled with injuries although head coach Zinedine Zidane has long considered him as an important player in his squad.
Madrid’s next match is at home to Valencia on Thursday before travelling to Real Sociedad on Sunday.
