Australia has manage to sustain its coronavirus flat curve for more than a month.
For five consecutive weeks, the growth rate of new coronavirus cases has been under 0.5%.
Australia Health Minister Greg Hunt said: ‘’that’s an extraordinary national achievement and I want to say to Australians, thank you.’’
On Monday, only six new coronavirus cases were reported. The total number confirmed cases in the country is about 7,000. 101 deaths are connected with the virus.
The nation has already reopened restaurants and schools. It’s also aiming to relax most restriction measures by July.
