CONMEBOL has confirmed that the 2020 Copa America tournament has been postponed until 2021.

Argentina and Columbia were to host the tournament this year but CONMEBOL has decided to postpone it due to the coronavirus epidemic.
The new dates for the Copa America 2021 are June 11 to July 11.
UEFA had earlier postponed the Euro 2020 to June 2021.
A statement by ONMEBOL read:’’ After a detailed analysis of the situation regarding the world and the regional evolution of the coronavirus (COVID-19), and the recommendations made by the international organisations in the field of public health to take extreme precautions, CONMEBOL announces the postponement of the 47th edition of the CONMEBOL Copa America to the dates of June 11 to July 11, 2021.’’
