World Health Organization (WHO) has just found a name for the new virus discovered in 2019 previously referred to as nobel coronavirus. It will know be known as COVID-19.
The name was announced on Tuesday by the World Health Organization Team.
“We had to find a name that did not refer to a geographical location, an animal, individual or group of people, ” said Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus- WHO Director General.
Nobel Coronavirus or COVID-19 has infected over 42,000 people and killed an excess of 1,000 others.
