Inter Milan goalkeeper Samir Handanovic is set to miss the mouthwatering Milan derby this coming weekend after fracturing his finger.
Handanovic missed Inter’s 2-0 win over Udinese on Sunday after hurting his finger in training. New signing Daniele Padelli made his Serie A debut.
The time for his return has not been provided but he seems unlikely to recover and face rivals AC Milan.
‘’Samir Handanovic has undergone an X-ray examination following an injury to his left hand suffered in training. ‘’ Said an Inter Statement issued on Monday.
‘’Results showed a hairline fracture to his little finger. His condition will be reassessed on a daily basis.’’
In the week after the Milan Derby, Inter will face Napoli in the Copa Italia and Lazio in the Italian Serie A.
