Successful separation of c-joined twins in Kenya

At a cost of Ksh 100 million, neurosurgeon Nimrod Mwang’ombe successful lead a team of 60 medics to separate two twins. Flavor and Blessings were two years at the time. The 23-hour surgery was the first to be undertaken in sub-Saharan Africa.
