The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) released statement on Saturday stating that the KDF recruitment exercise will take place from November 27th to December 16th.
The candidates who had applied earlier are required to reapply again in line with the dates announced today.
The recruitment of General Service Officers, Specialist officers, Tradesmen and Tradeswomen and Cadets will be done at the Defence Headquarters and those shortlisted will be informed through the newspapers between November 16th and November 20th.
General Duty recruits and Defence forces constables will be recruited at the Sub-County level. Successful applicants will be notified between December 23 and December 29.
The exercise was previously set for October 28. The exercise was however cancelled due to protests by legislators over the recruitment centres.
The National Assembly Defence Committee and the Foreign Relations Committee were against a prior announcement by the government that the Kenya Defence Forces would take place at the County headquarters. The Committees wanted the exercise to take place at the Sub Counties to avoid most of the youth being left out.
