“Remittances into Tanzania, Kenya, UGANDA and Ethiopia. Kenyan forex receipts of USD 2bn from remittances is more than all the forex receipts TANZANIA get from mineral exports. Tanzania has huge Diaspora community but poor policies results into meager receipts USD 435 millions,” tweeted Zitto Kabwe Ruyagwa.
Zitto Kabwe is the current Member of Parliament for Kigoma-Ujiji Municipality in Tanzania. Zitto was commenting on Foreign Direct Investments for Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Ethiopia.
