Professor Lukoye Atwoli, Dean School of Medicine at Moi University has resigned effective immediately.
A few hours after his resignation, Prof tweeted that:
“Friends: I have only left one office a year early. I will still do all the other things I’ve always done- teaching and supervising students, conducting research, and seeing patients when I can. Like the man said, friends, “Weep not for me, but for yourselves and your children!”

The good professor cited frustrations from university management as one of the reasons why he had to resign.
