Law of the jungle on the streets of Nairobi
Today I witnessed the law of the jungle apply on the streets of Nairobi. We were on board of a bus plying route 46 (Kawangware). On reaching Department of Defense headquarters (DoD), the bus accidentally and unknowingly broke the side mirror of another bus from a competing transport company.

We were bamboozled when the conductor of that bus came and demanded to know whether they will be compensated for the loss. The gentleman did not provide sufficient time for the crew on our bus to respond to the demands. He just alighted and broke the side mirror on the bus we were on board.
That is a true application of the rule of the jungle. It was tit for tat.
