On the other hand, Kylian Mbappe (19) of France officially became the second teenager to score a goal during the World Cup Final. The other teenager was Pele of Argentina who scored two goals against Sweden back in 1958. At that time Pele was aged just 17.
Croatia was initially expected to win the game after starting on a strong foot but their luck ran out after Mario Mandzukic’s own goal.
