The abuse of alcohol in America remains a significant public health issue, affecting millions of individuals and their communities. Alcohol consumption is deeply ingrained in American culture, but for many, it leads to dependency, addiction, and severe health consequences.
Research estimates that 16,651 people died of opioid overdoses in 2010. A DEA whistleblower called Joe Rannazzisi indicated that “opioid crisis was allowed to spread – aided by congress, lobbyists…”
